Ukrainians were actually murderers.

Watched a documentary about WW 2 And found out Putin's claims are true. Ukrainians murdered over 150,000 Jews and gypsies. They marched them to predug pits and slaughtered women and children alike. They joined Germany in their murder spree and switched sides when the war seemed lost. They also raped and murdered thousands of Russians.

Ukraine wasn’t a nation in WW2. It was part of Russia.
And I don’t doubt a lot of Russians from the Ukraine did horrible things.
Russia did a lot of horrible things. They killed millions of people including millions of Russians.
Russia has a long history of brutality. They rape, they murder and that continues today.

The Ukrainians, especially in the western half of the country, seemed to always to have had a beef with the Poles. They were the biggest collection of and one of the more reliable collaborators that the Germans had in the World War II. Other than the Germans themselves, they may have been one of the biggest participants in the Holocaust. Ukrainian militia forces conducted military operations in cooperation with the German Army in Poland, the Baltic States, and Yugoslavia.
But that was then, and this is now.

Also, since WWII crimes are the issue you have, should we discuss the Soviet/Russian crimes against EVERY nation they occupied during the time period? The Soviet Russian state was literally one of the most monstrous and criminal in all of European history.

Nazis weren't the only ones exterminating people during ww2. You had the Banderites in Ukraine, the Italian fascist groups, Hungary had some similar Nazi groups. Croatia had the Ustasha trying to eliminate all Serbs, Jews and Orthodox Christians.

Putin's claims are that he invaded his neighboring country in the year 2022 to de militarize and de-nazify it. The areas he has claimed just so happened to give him control of the majority of their natural resources as well as access to ports on the Black Sea.

WTF do actions during WWII have to do with any of this? If that is the metric anyone is free to attack anyone. Particularly Russia, given the Bolshevik's rise to power.
