IF they were stopped, they would only get a summons issued and then likely wouldn’t show up for court. Hell, if they’re doing that, chances are they already have some outstanding warrant that isn’t severe enough to be worthy of a jail cell.
Even if they were arrested, I seriously doubt it would “scare them straight”. There really is no way to fix the behavior we are seeing without extreme measures. Instead of handing out fines that are never paid, bring back chain gangs and let them work off their fine.

Y’all never rode a dirt bike around your neighborhood? Never took a neighbor’s 4 wheeler down the street?
It’s 4 kids cutting up. I’m going to pull the race card and say most of y’all don’t like it because they are black. If it were 4 Catholic High boys cutting up, you’d have a different attitude.
This board is quick to point out every shooting in BR and NOLA, well at least they are having fun and not shooting anyone. I think it’s kind of a bad arse story to have to tell when you’re older. Makes me laugh.
Now of course, we can’t let them do this and we must stop them, especially on the interstate and the bridge. But that’s what law enforcement is for. I want these kids stopped and punished, and I want to make sure they don’t do this again, but I’m not going to act like 4 kids taking cutting up too far is a huge problem for society.
