What about the doctor who performs the abortion? He would be guilty of homicide under the proposed Louisiana law.
It’s not an abortion when you are performing that type of procedure.
The purpose of an abortion is the direct and purposeful killing of an unborn child. The purpose of the procedure we are discussing is saving the life of the woman. The death of the child is an indirect but inevitable result.

Better to kill it then amirite?

Except if you disagree with them, then it’s cool to use the gov to step in between the woman and her doctor.
I love the way the left frames this. Irresponsibly fricking a guy and getting knocked up, then paying a physician to rip the fetus up and vacuum the dead bits out of your womb because you dont want to be inconvenienced by motherhood is framed as a "personal healthcare decision between a woman and her doctor". As if we are stopping medical professionals from providing vital and lifesaving medical care to women. Laughable.

It's also the same people who outlawed a pharmicist or a doctor's right to conscientiously object to assisting in abortion

Perhaps if we didnt make erasing a pregnancy as easy as getting a tooth pulled, young people would make better decisions with sex, use protection, or take responsibility for their unplanned child like they did prior to RvW. Less communicable disease, less unwanted pregnancies, more opportunities and less emotional trauma for young people. But we cant have all that, can we? Shaquita is DTF, so we cant dare infringe on those sacred rights.

The responses may shock you, but the overwhelming majority want the states to choose.
Roe was decided improperly. I want the courts to judge the constitutionality of laws, not attempt to make the laws.
We have 535 retards in DC we overpay to do that.

where i'm at with it: abortion is needed in America. there will always be abortions in this country, at least make them safe. The abortion pill is a cheap easy method to erase a mistake and not bring an unwanted child into this world.

Safe for whom?
No.

safe for the person carrying the fetus. but it needs to be done quickly. not this waiting it out for months bullshite.

Is it? Birth rates in the US continued to climb for decades post Roe. You know what else climbed? Fatherlessness, teen pregnancies, divorce, female depression, suicides, contraction of STDs, and the general destruction of the nuclear family.

Every abortion has a 50% death rate. What other medical procedure can boast that?

Show all the people who opposed a procedure on an ectopic pregnancy, which is NOT a viable pregnancy. The baby will die, Oweo-who-walks.

I think something can be said for having options to move To different states that fit you
I also Think we’re may more a cohesive country as a whole than when they were writing the constitution. We were a confederation at the time and loosely bound, and federalism represents a compromise.
My issue with state government is that generally they’re somehow even less competent than federal government.

In states run by leftists, that's absolutely true.

like they did prior to RvW
You know what happened prior to RvW? Coat hanger. Actual babies in dumpsters. Things like that.
Or…….the government could not come between a woman and her doctor and allow safe abortions to end a pregnancy while it's early and not developed into an actual child but rather just a fetus (I’m against the states that allow it all the way up until birth though unless for whatever reason the mother's health became in danger for whatever reason).

But it's far easier to extract yourself from a state whose government you find particularly unpalatable than it is a whole country.

It still all depends on money.
