With all the times I’ve flown into DFW and spent a decent amount of time there, I’d say Forth Worth IMO and I’ve been to all of the major metropolitan areas of Texas and spent a year stationed Ft. Hood while on active duty.

To answer OP:
It’s personal preference. To me, I prefer SA out of the major cities. Otherwise, I’d stay away from the I-35 corridor and Houston area.
