I ate Taco Bell way too much when they had the Volcano Burritos. I've hardly eaten it since they did away with the Lava Sauce.

As much as I ate TB in the 90’s - and it was a LOT - I don’t think I ever had the Mexican Pizza. 3 Meximelts and 2 bean burritos with extra cheese was my go-to order. Every now and then I’d throw in a Nachos Bell Grande.

Yeah, I was in college then and very active and could put away some food. That would be my lunch, then I’d put down a large Papa John’s pizza for dinner. I was running, riding my bike, or playing basketball nearly every day.

Yea, my order generally compiled some mixture of cheesy gordita crunch, chalupa, crunchwrap, and depending on what burritos they had going at the time.
Their OG $5 box back in the day that was a crunchwrap, cheesy gordita crunch, cheesy double beef burrito, taco, cinnamon twists, and drink for $5 was and will forever be the best $5 box that has ever been done.

It's $4.49 here for the beef and bean versions. Weird there's no discount for no beef. Also, wasn't that thing like $2.49 a couple of years ago? I mean it's just a tostada with and extra tortilla and tomatoes.

Yeah, I went and got one the other night and was surprised it was over $5 with tax. All it was was 2 tortillas, some beans and meat with a little cheese on top. They didn’t even put any tomatoes on it.
