I’ll let him get a about 3 seasons under his belt before I decide whether or not he was a good hire. Let him get his system and his players in place and see what happens.

No shot. The equivalent would be lsu being 3-3 in the SEC in early November and we have a decent offense and the worst defense in the entire NCAA

Giving a guy a full season before judging his ability to turn a program around isn't some kind of great feat. Its common courtesy. Its standard, barring some drastic/extraordinary collapse or major scandal. Sometimes I hate our fans.

What’s wrong with supporting a new coach that’s only been here for half a season? I mean god damn. I’m giving Kelly 3 years. Did you watch the bowl game? That’s what he was left with. If he goes 9-3 next year that would be an accomplishment.

Yep. That's exactly why our pitching staff, especially our bullpen, has exceeded expectations so far this season.
You people clearly don't even listen to what the coaches say. They've been telling us since fall practice what they were working on and what to expect: pitching by committee. They told us we likely wouldn't have any "aces" and that we would rely on a lot of arms from the bullpen. That's exactly what we've been seeing. And as of a few days ago, that was good enough for 3rd best ERA in the SEC.
