15% Ethanol Gas May Be At The Pumps This Summer

The 15% mix, known as E15 gasoline, is usually banned for sale from June 1 to September 15, peak travel months, because it is more volatile in the heat and there is some concern that it contributes to smog
Ugh. I'd like to see less corn gas than more. And stations carry more options for ethanol-free gas than 91 or higher.

frickers should let us add our own water

This is how you solve the future food shortage, right?

Hell yeah, easy to make me some racing fuel for the summer meetups.

Burning food in fuel tanks. Brilliant idea.

so our progressive (D)emocrats, who would shove down green policy if it meant destroying our economy are looking for a cheap win by selling corn gas at a discounted rate?
i smell desperation.

Considering there is 4 million less acres of corn planted this year due to fertilizer costs this makes 0 sense.
Everything this administration does serves to hurt people. It has to be intentional

Wait, isn't it more expensive to make ethanol?

Does 15% ethanol damage engines? Or can it? I know a lot of car manufacturers are just looking for ways to deny warranty claims now more than ever.

Gas prices will go up with 15%. Consider - fuel for farm equipment is high, fertilizer prices are high, seed costs are high, equipment and parts have increased costs, and transport costs to processors are high.

From what I've been told it isn't the same type of food grade corn. I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure my truck can run off of pure ethanol "flex" fuel.
Also the sticker on my outboard says up to 15% ethanol, but I don't run it at all in any outboard or small engines. you're just asking for trouble.

It isn’t. The majority of corn grown isn’t for human consumption. Like 70%+

They already make it. I'm all about the eff Biden train, but this will literally make no difference. When they blend it with gasoline it'll be E15 instead of E10

So genuinely speaking, e15 is unstable but e85 isn’t during the hot summer months?

Time to plant some corn, boys!
Just gotta convert those 3208 irrigation pumps from diesel to electric.

It’s animal feed grade/processing grade corn. So while your corn price won’t necessarily go up, everything else that relies on corn (animals, chips, high fructose corn syrup) will

Democrats are either extremely wealthy, or living on the backs of taxpayers.
Nothing they do hurts their voting base, because their voting base is immune from economic impacts of their policies.
Why do you think SNAP got a 25% raise last October?
