Only if she refers to him as ""Plumber Jones" or others as "Banker Smith", etc. she can take that title and shove it up her self entitled arse.

I was scanning the thread to see if someone made the Dr Love joke.

My wife (no pics) has a PhD and only goes by Dr in her professional setting. Definitely does not use it outside of work.

Do these people take the time to introduce themselves as doctor in every interaction with a stranger? I imagine this is only people with some PhD level degree in bullshite studies.
I also imagine it's just very few people who do it. I have never had anyone tell me they were a Dr. before, but surely I have came across several in life.

First off, how the frick would I even know?

Second, still no.

When I was growing up, we had a neighbor that was an older distinguished man and was a dean at Tulane. Everyone in the neighborhood called him Dr. Jones (not his real name). I think the reason everyone called him doctor was because he was at the pinnacle of academic hierarchy, was older, and was very distinguished in his looks and his manner. He wasn't some young slapdick.
