With how they have been able to recruit over at Memphis, I wouldn’t be mad about this at all.
FWIW, I don’t know much about Toppert. If anyone has any insight that they would like to share, it would be appreciated.

Gotta say, kinda weird timing with it coming out that Memphis has 4 level 1 violations.

Memphis hoops fan, I know Toppert very well. Was the top recruiter on the staff. Helped land guys like Josh Minott (likely first round pick), Lester Quinones and more.
Very intelligent and cerebral guy offensively. Played a big part in helping Memphis improve in that area last season. Has NBA experience, spent time in the G-League and went the Suns. I believe Devin Booker and him are tight, he played a big role in his development.
Coach’s son that played hoops at Cornell, was a pretty good shooter. In short LSU got a good recruiter and tactician. I think he’ll be a HC one day.

LSU was pushing hard for Quinones. Offer was not strong arse enough.

Memphis was after Yohan hard earlier this year. Not sure about other guys.
