Whole Bean Coffee is a Game Changer

I recently bought a coffee grinder and started grinding my own coffee right before I brew it. This coffee is absolutely delicious.
I’ll never buy ground coffee or K-Cups ever again. Those are both low quality, especially K-Cups.
I definitely recommend doing this. Every cup is fresh and flavorful.

Yep. And brew with a French press and it gets even better

It's because the beans have flavorful oils and those oils are going to dry out once the beans are ground. I don't understand why anyone would use pre-ground stuff.
It's the same concept with spices. Freshly ground black pepper is always going to be more flavorful than a shaker full of ground pepper.

Now do it with fresh (roasted within a week or so) coffee

I stopped grinding beans when I got my Nespresso Vertuo.
That being said, I will pull an Aeropress shot from time to time for a change of scenery

I used to think that but fresh ground is much more important than fresh roasted.

Hope you got a burr grinder.

Well, I agree that grinding fresh can improve slightly aged coffee.
But nobody using truly fresh coffee is getting it ground or grinding and storing so I don't really see it as either/or.

I used to buy the freshest single origin beans I could find. Then I met my wife and she pours hazelnut mocha vanilla shite creamer in her coffee and I just started buying whole beans in bulk that don’t cost $20 a pound. Of course it’s not as good as fresh roasted but it’s not that big of a difference to me anymore.

Why not both? A week old roasted bag of beans freshly ground and steeped in a chemex is the best cup of coffee you can have.

Cool brew. Game changer. Nothing needed but cheese cloth and a grinder. Make enough for a week and it stays fresh.

Roast your own raw green beans and you’ll get an even bigger boner for amazing coffee. You can spend from $25 to $3500 for a roster
I buy my supplies from Sweet Maria’s

After years of Community in a drip machine, then K-Cups, I switched over a year ago to grinding whole beans and using an Aeropress.
Spouse still uses the Keurig, so I use it for my hot water to pour in the Aeropress or to make hot tea.

Yep, I’ll never go back. My Capresso Infinity is still going strong after 3 years now.
freshroastedcoffee.com is my go to. I have an autoship order for 2lbs of beans for around $18. Each order is roasted fresh.

I keep thinking of trying this.
Most mornings I drink two cups of Lavazza and love it. I buy it ground, but I keep the bag in the freezer which is supposed to help stop the oils from escaping the grounds.

I buy the Community private reserve whole bean from sam's and grind in store. Best I can do. Much better cup than preground and light years ahead of k cups. Have a nespresso at office and it makes a solid cup

It's a wannabe Chemex.
just as much as a chemex is a wannabe espresso machine. What an ignorant statement.
