Any recommendations for a lump sum of cash to make a better return instead of sitting in my current bank savings?
I see a bunch that seem to have higher yields, but wanted to get some specifics if anyone uses one that they recommend.

High yield savings account. Does such a thing exist these days? I thought that was a contradiction in terms.

They were giving a smallish bonus for new and existing accounts. Not sure if they still are. Discover was also giving a bonus for new accounts. Might check them too. APYs are roughly the same.

They all suck. Honestly not worth your time to try and shop this.

I just do the 9% annual yield on USDC through Voyager. Pretty ridiculous returns in an unpredictable market. I’ve gotten $1k in interest already and just started making recurring USDC deposits in November.

Been looking into this. Have you run into any issues or causes for concern with this?

Lol no. Funny I just returned to the thread to see all those downvotes

I need rocket or Gaucho to come in here and defend me against all the boomers. Can’t imagine making money gets any easier than that.

It costs nothing and zero fees to switch between USD and the USDC stablecoin so sometimes sell the usdc for usd just for reassurance that it can be done whenever without issue. Haven’t had any problems with withdrawals or deposits.

Guy asks about high yield savings account. Probably because he needs easy access to this money and can't afford to lose it.

How is USDC not easy access to his money or risky to lose? Help me understand
