Thoughts?

Tony Bennett - Virginia - unlikely

Brad Stevens - Boston Celtics - 1% chance

Scott Drew - Baylor - 10% chance? Would cost a lot..

I think the names below are more realistic.

Buzz Peterson - Texas A&M

Andy Kennedy - UAB

Eric Konkol - Louisiana Tech

Grant McCasland - North Texas (my personal favorite)

Rick Pitino - Iona (yes that Rick Pitino) - he's old, but clearly still has the motivation to coach.

I mean we aren’t gonna be getting Top Tier 1 notch candidates, it just won’t happen. With that said

Grant from North Texas would be a pretty solid hire, with the way things are going right now and the way our basketball program might end up.

Scott Drew is your first call and you make him say no. He has rumored interest in UGA job, worried about future of the Big 12. LSU is a much better job than UGA. Dude took on the ultimate rebuilding job with Baylor and turned them into a national champion.

Y’all realize we are about to get hammered and no one will come here, right?

You really think any decent coach is coming to LSU with looming sanctions. Woody basically admitted guilt and now the NCAA is going to hammer us. But before the punishment comes down, what coach with anything is going to come to LSU.

We will be lucky to get a P5 assistant.

Woodward, think outside the box. The next coach is already in BR. Kim Mulkey!

Watch Woody run down here to Houston and hire Kelvin Sampson. It would be fitting and ironic.
