Maybe she was one of a handful flying alone?
And honestly, if I had been on that flight I'd have been more worried about getting myself settled than "what was going on" unless there was a scene being made.
People need to just stop.

Please let there be cellphone video from another passenger shows her being politely asked to occupy another seat in order to allow two passengers traveling together to sit beside each other, and her going full ghetto queen-victim on the flight attendant in response.

They just scan their boarding pass at the gate to get on.. so of course they’ll claim

If the women had first class tickets and there weren’t first class spots, I’m sure the airline would accommodate them as best as possible.
A single traveler, especially if they didn’t pay full freight, would get bumped.
