I don’t think Putin gives a shite about Finland, but the EU isn’t a defense pact so attacking an EU nation that’s not a part of NATO doesn’t warrant a NATO response.

Just a casual observation, but we've been paying a lot of attention to an area in the Gulf about 100 miles WSW of Tampa today. There were a couple of ASW planes (p8's and a E-6) orbiting out there. Russian Boomers?

No he's not. He's on immunosuppressive drugs according to several reports. Now the question is, what for? If it's cancer like many think, then the problem will sort itself out soon enough.

Of course not. But when other NATO EU members jump in to help Finland, and Russia attacks their troops....then it does.

Eh, that’s a bit of a stretch. All NATO nations know what the consequences of a war with Russia are. No NATO country would go to the aid of Finland anymore than they would Ukraine
