I very seldom ever go to Wal Mart. But I happened to go last night.

About 1/2 of the workers couldn't speak English.

I understand most of their usual employee pool has decided to no longer participate in the workforce. Not being able to order pound of turkey breast shaved because of a language barrier is very frustrating.

At the same time I'm happy they are at least willing to work.

The store managers are paid well.

Apply and fix it.

My dad worked for walmart for 22/23 years. Most of them as an assistant manager in Bayou Vista. He left in the mid 2000's because he saw the writing on the wall. They were pushing out older management and replacing them with younger ones due to pay. Tehy hadn't necessarily threatened him or anything yet but he knew it was coming. Anyway, all that to say they made their bed by running out good management. This is the result.

My maternal grandmother was a retail manager and this is pretty much her exact experience with Walmart as well. She only had like 10 years with the company though. She ended up managing a local McDonald's after she left Walmart and said even as fricked up as McDonald's is, it is run so much better from a corporate level than Walmart.

Serves him right for forcing my Grandpa's Patterson TruValue out of business.

J/k. Such is life.

You guys need to get Wal Mart +. The store is so much better when someone else goes in there and does the shopping for you.

Or at least do grocery pickup. Whatever you do, you should avoid going into the store.

Does this mean the LA Rams will decline in the near future?

Walmart app and pickup FTW.

You can have your $4 canned goods that Walmart provides for $2.50.

Imagine being this pretentious

WalMart has like 30 self checkouts. I can be in and out of there quickly, even on a Saturday afternoon.

I was shopping at Target one time and a lady asked me if I worked there. I was wearing a green polo and chinos. That's all I got.

A company can't be low cost and high service.

Why go to Walmart when you can go to target?

I used to shop there so much I had their credit card for the 5% off.
I stopped because I kept coming back home with only maybe 1 or 2 of the important items on my grocery list.
Walmart has stock issues, too, of course, but Target is another level.

I was in Walmart a few weeks ago. I went to self checkout. Bottomline, the associate was there to oversee everything. I did not get greeted or acknowledged. I also went to a regular checkout a while back. The cashier was not friendly. Just scanned and bagged with an attitude, no acknowledgement , no,, thanking me for my business or to have a nice day. I usually avoid Walmart but I was driving by Bluebonnet and Burbank, it looked nice, so I said, what the hell. On another note, the nicest staff I've found is at the Cortana location I've started to mix in Walmart more, but there's no MILF talent or nice yoga pants sights like Siegen Target

Your Walmart manager makes a lot more than you think.
