Pandering to the boosters seems like the worst part of being HC or AD at a program like LSU.

O , was not a businessman or a smooth operator he only knows beast mode .
In a way, BK declining to match A£M offer further will help with skeptical boosters. He showed he isn’t going to be wasteful with their resources on a kid with some red flags.
This shouldn’t take long to repair, the staff is outstanding and I suspect will the product will be physical, disciplined, and a team we can be proud.

I doubt seriously that anyone at LSU is giving anything of substance to Embody when it comes to the millions and millions of dollars these behind the scenes Boosters are putting up for coaches, NIL, etc.
They certainly won’t give info like that to ESPN, CBS, ABC, etc. You have people like Embody talking about finances that are definitely going to be private between LSU and the individual. The Booster probably would be a little upset if his personal dealings with LSU (Woodward & Higher) were ever discussed with likes of these hacks who sponge off LSU to sell their info to LSU fans. Many of whom are gullible.

Pulling this out of his arse. The old regime lost the boosters because they lost control of the program. Kelly simply gaining control (and obviously winning) will repair these relationships.
LSU actually has a good somewhat healthy booster support system when compared with say the TX schools. Those schools don’t have effective boundaries.

The Boosters weren’t lost. They are the ones who have paid to clean the crap up. They are the ones giving Woodward the tools he needs to do the job. In fact, they are the ones who brought in Woodward to do the job. This all was organized and still is ongoing. Woodward does not pull their strings. It’s just the opposite.

With all the crap going on at LSU with baseball, football, and women’s basketball coaching staffs, support staffs, not to mention Title IX, LSU has had a full plate just trying to get stabilized. NIL will work out.
I agree. This is all evidence that there are several big-time boosters who are on board or a few guys with huge wallets that are on-board. This shows Woodward is doing all of the rights things, not that he's damaging LSU.

Time will continue to show that O was always Ole Miss O while here. He benefited from a miracle season that came together because of the players and coordinators we had.

Truth is that LSU was suffering from a serious lack of leadership and it was not limited to Orgeron. F King Alexander, Joe Alleva, Orgeron, and more were all lacking.
So if you are going to straighten things out you have to put leaders in place first and then let them get things fixed. We have had a change at the LSU President, the Athletic Director, the Head Baseball Coach, the Women’s Basketball Coach, the Head Football Coach, and the entire Support Staff. This is all organized and the old Administration President down was pulled out by the roots. It takes time to get the right people in place but LSU is finally close.
This is what Brian Kelly calls “Alignment” and he is correct.

This is a fact. But it wasn’t just O who ruined the relationships. The entire AD has alienated some very big boosters, and they have their work cut out for them to get them to buy back in.

I have no reason to doubt this and I can't imagine that it will take very long. Brian Kelly was brought in to replace Orgeron with a top-shelf experienced coach and program manager. The boosters got in Brian Kelly what they were hoping for. It isn't like Kelly has to prove he can actually be a competent head coach. He's shown that for two decades.

I think there was a big mess but most of it was forgiven when O got canned. I know a couple people I would consider big time boosters and that's the impression I get from them.
