What is your favorite kitchen “smell?” I am a onion/garlic/ pepper kind of guy. I am savoring the lasting aroma of some caramelized onions right now. Top that. PS—sauteed onions and garlic are pretty damn good too

I make homemade breads pretty often and the smell of bread baking in the oven fills the house with a great aroma.

Onion and Garlic is hard to beat. My wife loves the smell when I am frying tomato paste, of course it starts with garlic, onions and olive oil.
