We are not even talking $millions here, 450k is nothing compared to a 1st round draft pick. A&M won’t get you there......LSU will.

Money...$450k is not stability, even for him...mama gets a Lexus, he gets a charger, some jewelry, maybe they pay off the mortgage, but I doubt it

You guys are even accounting for the big bite Uncle Sam is going to take out of it every Spring.

I really don't see the problem with getting fat cat boosters from different schools to bid against each other. This is just the way it is right now. As fans, it's not fun to watch, but I'm not about to throw stones at, and make assumptions about people I don't know. For all we know Jacoby wasn't 100% on LSU anyway and his family just said, if it's close, just take whoever pays you the most and transfer if you don't like it

One of my favorite things about this site. The more reasonable, and rational, and realistic your post is, the more likely it is to immediately get downvoted to hell. Only hypocritical homer takes here pal.

I just don’t get it. If he came to LSU and didn’t make the NFL LSU would help him get a great job. Good luck to the young man.

Short-term gain. He'll be choosing where he wants to be next year or the year after. Not his family.

It’s pathetic Families whoring out their kids as cash cows.
While I tend to agree that whoring your kids out for money is pretty sad. What is even worse is a grown arse man spending 100s of thousands to get a stranger to play for their favorite college.

Fat Cat Boosters don't need to bid. Just shell out each month fir each player on the roster. Level playing field for all colleges. These guys are teenagers. Not professionals NIL needs to go.

What the hell do you think this thread is about? Boosters bidding for players under the guise of NIL.

I agree, but it's not going anywhere. At this point, we can either just hope for reform and oversight, or for it to blow up on the schools to the point that self-moderation takes over.

He’s a 17 year-old kid who can make his own decisions, but especially in these days of NIL if you let 100 or 200,000 or even a half of million Make u turn spurn the home school and state It’s not a smart business decision in the long run. Thats not life-changing money on top of what you will be getting from LSU ,because there is life after football you come to LSU, And Get your degree. If you make it to the league or not when you’re done playing you have people throwing good paying jobs And you can make money off of your image and likeness also, but that’s out the window when you signed at A&M. You can still do it it’s just a way easier path at LSU. I hope the four thousand or whatever it was it was worth it in the long run

Pathetic that they pimp out their son. Pitiful display of humanity from a demographic who who you would expect to do just that.

He’s going to have several new uncles, advisors and reverends to help him reduce that money to a manageable level.

Umm, this isn't true for all players. Neither is it true across all sports.
