Apparently many years ago, a woman got pregnant without ever banging a dude. She was a virgin!

My mother was married at 15 to my father who was 20. She dropped out of high school and got her GED. She had my older sister at 16 and three other kids by the time she was 20. Once my little brother started school she started college and earned a Masters in Education. Not all of these stories end bad.
Different times though. This was in the mid-late 70's My father would be locked up in today's world.

I knew a girl who was very religious/conservative and when she got pregnant her boyfriend and her put out a story that he had a wet dream and when she went to pick him up for school in the morning she accidentally sat in the wet spot on his bed and that she was technically still a virgin.
Yeah... people didn't really buy that.

I know of a girl who lost her virginity to some dumbass her freshman year of college. He told her its impossible for her to get pregnant the first time she has sex. The 8-year-old son she has now proves otherwise.

BTW, the AIDS epidemic was in full swing in 1985 with more cases that year than the combined case reported of all the previous years. staggering numbers, of all the cases reported by the end of 1985, 51% of adults and 59% of children had died. With an expectation of close to if not 100% mortality until the more modern treatment protocols were finally introduced in the 90s.

I was a teen in the 80s, and I never knew ANY parents that would allow a 14 year old… especially a girl… to run off to the beach for the weekend unsupervised. That’s just insane, and a dereliction of parental duty.

I always wondered about my times in destin, Panama, and Cancun if there was some kids wondering around that happened from those trips.
