Why do people in the south act like they like snow?

Our infrastructure isn’t built to handle it, people don’t know how to drive in it, people panic buy causing more supply chain issues as if we can handle that, the “snow” that we do get doesn’t really stick and melts as soon as it hits the ground turning into ice creating more dangerous roads and knocking out power.

Winter weather in the south is nothing but a pain in the arse.

I live in the south, and I like snow. We got 3 inches overnight.

Kentucky is technically the south but I meant more so like Deep South gulf coast. Kentucky is likely equipped to handle winter weather unlike Texas Louisiana Mississippi etc.

It’s awesome if you can stay home and enjoy it but a pain in the arse if you have to go anywhere especially if ice is involved

Ice roads in Louisiana is scary as hell

I hate people in the south that hate snow. I really want to fight these stupid arse weathermen that act happy we ‘dodged a bullet’ with the snow threat. Maybe not everyone enjoys watching their kids play outside all day, sitting by a wood fire to get warm, eating hot soup or chili, hot coffee in the morning and a cold bourbon in the evening, and curling up in a warm bed with their SO?

fricking retards.

This isn’t strictly a southern thing.

I had a driver In Connecticut almost get me killed cutting me off on icy roads.
