They've been baiting the Right into engaging with them since early 2020. They want political violence so they can say "Look, we told you the Right is full of violent extremists!!" but so far the Right has done a great job of simply ignoring the bait and refusing to fall into their traps.

That's why the Left was so angry when Rittenhouse went free, they thought that was the perfect opportunity to put the Right in their place.
