Buc-ee’s hops right over Louisiana into Mississippi. What gives?

Mississippi is the latest state to get a Buc-ee's. Any plans in the works for Louisiana?
I personally think the whole Buc-ee’s phenomenon is more than just a little strange, but considering the uber fascination so many here have with the place because trinkets, whatnots, and clean bathrooms, from what I’ve been able to surmise, why would they consistently skip over their own neighboring state?

The Millerville location would have been horrible anyways. That's way too much added traffic to an area with horrible traffic flow. Not to mention it needs to be built somewhere not in a shite hole city. They wouldn’t have been able to hire good workers in that location. Somewhere outside of Lafayette would do well.

Because in Louisiana most folks would stop at Billy's, On The Run or local joint for a link of boudin or some boudin balls, or at the French Market or Chevron for meat pies.

Vote NO to Buc-ees. It'll make crime go up, we won't do anything productive with the tax revenues anyways, drugs would go up, buc-ees in arizona never delivered on promises made, i'm a business owner and i vote no.

LA in general and the big cities within it in particular are horrible about permitting and other horseshite to get things up and running.
Not sure we will see one in Hawaii or Alaska first but I don’t see them putting money into Louisiana given their experience attempting to expand here before the floods.
