I see the Season 4 thread, but dare not enter as if I start it I wouldnt want to run into any spoilers.

My wife and I are looking for a new series. We have a Peacock Subscription.

Is Yellowstone worth the watch?

Most people will say yes. It’s the Sopranos with cowboys. If that sounds good to you, sure.

It seems to be a well done show if you like Soap Operas.

It caused me to realize that I don't particularly care for that type of T.V.

I like a plot where there is resolution when that episode is over and the next episode presents and resolves something new. An occasional "To be Continued" is okay but other than that I will lose interest waiting for the payoff.

Same thing happened to me with Blacklist.

its pretty low brow. Meant for more of a general audience. Not bad but not going to blow you away.

I love westerns and Taylor Sheridan as a writer/director. Haven't seen the series yet but I'll admit I know several fanatics and I'm getting tired of hearing about the show all the damn time.

Yes but stop after season 2.
Season 3 is okay.
Season 4 is horrible and ruins the show and every character.

My partner wanted to start and we're on season 3. It's OK. Nothing special but better than almost anything on network TV.

If you like soap operas dressed up as a western, go for it.

It's better than your typical cbs or abc show, but much worse than good premiere cable shows.

Watch it.

I said to my wife, “some of this is so dumb, but it’s fun anyway.”

Just have fun with it and ignore all these TV/movie critic wannabes.

I couldn't get into it at all. It was slow with over the top but predictable twists and so many damn commercials. Even with peacock premium it had a commercial seemingly every 5 minutes.

its already over, the seaason 4 finale was on last night

its frustrating that its just 6 shows and season is over, its so pathetic they dont even try to do real seasons any more.

yellowstone 1800s or whatever its called seems good too but you have to stream it. all these shows now start and finish, a full season as they call it, with just 6 shows only.

Abosutely. It's a really good series. Season 4 was just a bridge to get to season 5, so it wasnt as fast paced at the first 3. So there's going to be people that bash it. Don't listen to them

I couldn't make it through season one. They turned Helena, MT into a Chicago style gang land.

I would suggest watching the first episode and continuing until you either run out or decide you don’t like it.

Watched the finale last night at my sister-in-law’s house. She was whooping and hollering with delight at what happened.

I thought the show had a mediocre plot line with tons of unnecessary f-bombs. Me, I’ve never felt the need to swear uncontrollably when discussing chili.

Hard pass.

Yes. If you can suspend a bit of reality that comes with knowing so much violence in modern day Montana would go almost unnoticed... a big stretch. Do this and you will really like the show.
