quote:we have a couple homes in our neighborhood decked out with the BLM signs and flags and stuff but I’d bet dollars to doughnuts they have never had a black person step foot in their home. There is this family of 4 (half white half azn) that regularly walks down to the end of their private drive and pickets with BLM signs to everyone passing on the street. But The 2 kids go to a public HS that is 70% white, 18% Asian, 1% black, and avg ACT score of 31
San Fran is 5.2% black
People are clueless

Overt virtue signaling. I've seen it in Austin.

Where do they have authority on race relations?
Silicon Valley is in the Bay Area. Well, the White and Asian part of the Bay Area (San Jose is only 3% black), Oakland is cut out of it because, well, you know. Kinda fricked up how that gets pushed to the wayside but that's apparently acceptable in Cali so whatever. Portland is home of antifa and hipster protestors. My whole point is these posers talk a big game, but it's easy to do so looking from the outside. How can you criticize a 50-50 relationship when you yourself are in a 95-5 relationship? Just bothers me.

Who are you race focused people? I was San Francisco yesterday and and Oakland the rest of the weekend. Everyone I met seemed to be getting along and the topic of race seldom comes up in my discussions there but it always come up on this site.

C'mon dude, don't leave my city of Seattle out. We spent a lot of money and renamed the whole damn county after Martin Luther King.

These dopes fetishize blacks and view them as precious helpless beings. Insulting.

The authority on race relations? What does that even mean
They think their opinion on race relations is superior.
Is that hard to understand?

because they are 90% + white guilt.
They get offended so black folks don't have to.

Portland and San Francisco white people think they're the representatives of all black people.

Damn, they moving in. Used to be 3% ish. Seems odd though as a lot of AA's are being priced out and moving to Troutdale and Gresham.
A lot of the shootings that are happening are in those areas.
NE and North Portland were typically the AA neighborhoods. Which most of has been gentrified.

What gives these cities any authority on race relations or race related politics?
They don't know a single thing accept that all southerners are all racist.

Just wait until the Asians finally have enough and decide to fight back. Asians far outnumbers blacks in SF.

telling me that less than 6% of the population (and really less than that when you think of the actual perps) are holding these cities hostage?
maybe some enter[rizing cartels are shipping folks in to smash and grab and make a profit off their efforts??

Put it to you this way, I would bet so much money that the south has a higher rate of interatrial friendships, relationships, and marriages than any other part of the country. They don't want to push that narrative. But we also probably have a higher rate of racial conflicts they'll for sure push that. Why? Simply because we have so much more exposure on a day to day scale. And I'm not even saying it's a bad thing. But if it's about giving African Americans opportunities, well then why are cities that are mostly White and Asian being propped up as the progressive cities and not the majority black cities like NOLA?

You know, I never looked at the relationship in that context, but that perfectly describes the dynamic.

So Metairie is part of New Orleans but Kenner has its' own mayor? Did much of the white population move to the north shore or has New Orleans long been majority AA?

And they pride themselves on that 1% - thinking that gives them the gravitas to speak from a position of authority.
:smh:
