Question...was the bounty Mando got in this one of the people at the table with Boba at the end of Episode 4?
Same species, but I don't think it was him. The guy at the table in Jabbas palace was a crime boss on Tatooine.

To udtiger, they all look the same.

Remember in Season 2 when she responds to Din with, "oh, so you're one of THEM." It's clear she had a falling out with Death Watch around the time her sister was killed.
I think they said he was a with the “Children of the Watch” which is like a more extreme cult within or broken apart from DeathWatch.

Yeah, a Jedi is definitely not going to get involved with a criminal empire war, even if it is on his home planet.
Agree with that. My guess is Ahsoka and or Katan will help.

pretty sure the spare part that the Jawas were sent off to scavenge was the same part that Han used to try brace the trash compactor in A New Hope.
Definitely was.

It's possible Bo-Katan and her crew could help, but keep in mind that she doesn't see Boba as a true Mandalorian, so I'm not sure what kind of incentive Boba can offer to get them on their side. Maybe Din could claim leadership over that crew since he has the Dark Saber, but I'm not sure that he is willing to try to make that kind of claim quite yet. Maybe they could use some money, and would be willing to be paid muscle for Boba, but I don't see them doing it because they view him as a kindred Mandalorian or anything like that.
Ahsoka is currently on her own mission that she is committed to. She is currently tracking down Thrawn to try to rescue Ezra Bridger. I don't see her putting that on hold in order to help out an aspiring crime lord that she has no ties to.

Fair points, I'm anxious to see.

What about Cal and Merrin, given the BD-1 Easter Egg?

Everyone here thinking Grogu is the little friend that Mando is referring to but watch Ol’ Freckles Bill Burr show up and Mando just wants to give him a pair of Beskar sunglasses for the bright Tattooine sun.
Just kidding, great episode. Some thoughts:
Loved the Terminator-esque shot of the Imperial droids hunting across the burning embers of Mandalore during the Great Purge.
Not that I would support any reference to the Sequels, but if Mando does visit Grogu and Luke, would a young Ben Solo make an appearance?
Loved how the Darksaber is wielded with the mind and not the body. I’m not super knowledgeable of the lore of the Mandolorians so I just thought that was cool.

I'd like to know how that was filmed. When I rewatched the training scene, it legitimately looked heavy, like he was swinging a 100-pound sword at one point.
That kind of gravity/physics is hard for an actor to fake if it's a just a light plastic stick. I wonder if he swung a real heavy object and they SFX'd it up later.

this is basically the same level of tech in Mando/Boba Fett, as in the original Star Wars trilogy.
You get a bounty, you get a tracker that enables you to trace anyone anywhere. Mando got one on Grogu, who I'd strongly suspect was a very hidden figure.
Meanwhile, a few years earlier, Darth Vader is searching high and low for Luke; and along with that the Empire is scouring the galaxy for the Rebels (of whom they know Princess Leia, at least, to be one).
So, what's the deal here? I know you had to get close enough to trigger the tracker, but the Empire should have things pretty tightly networked. They should have been able to get a line on things easier than they did, since single individuals can track down practically anyone.
If you needed DNA, Vader had Leia on his ship awhile in Ep 4, and had Luke's damn hand if he wanted after Ep 5. Not to mention he knew Luke's DNA was close to his, I'm pretty sure the Empire had ancestry.com tech at their disposal, and could have searched for near-matches to Vader if he so chose (he knew Luke was his son).
For that matter, Kenobi and Yoda had to be on file somewhere too, you'd think. They had 20 years to look.

Interesting that the best Book of Fett episode, didn’t have Boba Fett in it. When does Mando season three come out?

That is an interesting question. Lateef Crowder is the go to stunt man for Mando and he is quite a gifted physical actor/stunt man. Him and Brendan Wayne (who did the suit work and based the distinctive Mando walk after his grandfather John Wayne) held down most of the first season while Pedro Pascal was doing other projects.
However they pulled it off it was extremely convincing. Both of the characters in that fight scene, even the beefy Paz Vizla, looked like they were really struggling with that blade. If it was just a light plastic stick then Good Lord are they skilled.

A random Rodian parent and child on a public transport to Tatooine doesn't need to be related to a Rodian childhood acquaintance/friend of Anakin. There are more than 40 beings that live on Tatooine. Not everything needs to be connected or related, especially minor characters. "

How is mando supposed to bring in bounties with no cargo space?
What exactly did she say she did with the astro-mech holder thing, do you think this could be used to hold bounties?
