A lot of speculation that Harrison Ford may return for a cameo in the last episode.
Well at 26:54, as Mando leaves the star port on the transport, that other ship in the background that fades into darkness really looks like the Millennium Falcon.

My TV must be broke, I can’t see shite when I watch this series. Filmed like the last season of Game of Thrones, all is super dark and can barely see anything. I feel like this series is more of a pod cast or audio book.

If it is new enough to be a 4k display then it is likely just poorly calibrated. That being said cheap sets have a limited ability to render dark scenes without is turning to a mushy dark gray. The other issue is ambient light, even the highest nits displays can get washed out in high ambient light, we just haven't gotten to the point of having displays that can produce enough localized light. This is why high-end PJs in a fully light-controlled room are still the gold standard.
There is inherently nothing wrong with the video, it is delivered in 4K Ultra HD and HDR10 and shot beautifully and looks spectacular on a properly calibrated TV or PJ screen.

Goddamn. I see where they dropped the budget for this season. Bringing both the Mando back and the N1 Starfighter.
We thinking this is somehow the one Anakin flew?

I think someone noted one of the SW YTers checked the markings and it is not.

I just went and looked at it (like, real closely, frozen on my big-screen 4k).
Almost certainly just another transport identical to the one Mando is on. It's still docked, so you have a different POV on that compared to the one leaving. Has 3 protrusions, same as the transport he's on.
Now, my son says "looks sorta like the Ebon Hawk", but I don't think they're going down that road.

Meanwhile, a few years earlier, Darth Vader is searching high and low for Luke; and along with that the Empire is scouring the galaxy for the Rebels (of whom they know Princess Leia, at least, to be one).
So, what's the deal here? I know you had to get close enough to trigger the tracker, but the Empire should have things pretty tightly networked. They should have been able to get a line on things easier than they did, since single individuals can track down practically anyone
Empire didn’t have that many resources on the Outer Rim. Tattoine is basically Antarctica for that galaxy except sand lol.

I have a new TV being shipped and I'm fkn pissed it wasn't here in time for the last episode.

How is mando supposed to bring in bounties with no cargo space?
This and the fact he had a lot of bad arse gear that he can no longer store on his new hot rod

Could always just bring his bounties in cold…
Much as I’d like him to inherit the Slave 1, seems like Boba needs the enforcer style ship more than Mando.

I'm wondering now if down-sizing Mando's ride is the real reason the scriptwriters had Mando's beskar spear melted down. It wouldn't have fit in the hot rod, (or even the weapon-storage suitcase on the commercial flight). And, bonus, Grogu gets some armor from it that might one day save him from Ben Solo.

I took all the callbacks to previous Mando seasons as a subtle ending of his adventures as a bounty hunter. I think his new ride and quest will elevate him to bigger things IMO.

This was the best episode of the season thus far, to me.

I'm assuming a lot of gear got destroyed with the Razor Crest. Remember, he had his own carbonite freezing setup (we saw that in ep 1), that's gone.
The biggest issue is, he lived in the Razor Crest. It was his RV. All of that now is over. Forget the issue of carrying gear or bounties, he still needs a bed.

I didn't get into the Mandalorian until after season 2 had already finished so I wasn't in the Mandalorian threads, but was the Armorer's helmet and red armor discussed? That helmet definitely resembles a certain leader of Death Watch, and the reddish armor that she wears is a similar color as the Mandalorian super commandos. So if that's the case, could the Armorer be Rook Kast? This seems to be a theory floating around.

I take it maybe Mandalore becomes a thing going forward or he will have a new bass of operations, potentially allying with BoKatan. But the dude gotta eat and make credits somewhere.

I think the really interesting ship we have (possibly) seen in BoBF is Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator.
Based on her armor it is almost certain the Armorer was a follower of Darth Maul.
It is in the concept art at the end:

Not going to lie, I bellowed a hearty chuckle through a cracked smile at “wizard”.
