I would prefer not to have Lebron James anywhere near the basketball program.

You know you can express your dislike for someone because of their actions, and it doesn’t dictate your life?

This is a message board, so you’ll need to accept the opinions on a subject. You’re the only one that seems incapable of doing that.

For the record Lebron is a huge piece of shite. I don’t agree with his political views, his narrow minded way of thinking, or his disconnect with the country I live in. But even with that said the sun still rose this morning and it’s going to be a Merry Christmas.

ETA: His son is a take. Lebron being associated with LSU could only be positive. And that’s really all I care about.

Really? Watch some of Lebron's antics during his son's AAU games. They have been well documented.

I absolutely can't stand Lebron but this would be huge for the program.

His presence would be a bit of a game changer for LSU in a lot of ways.

If you can't look past to that, I don't know what to tell you.

Why is a thread about the 30th ranked player in 24/7’s composite rockin the University’s shirt turned into what his dad represents? Anyways, with how he’s defending these days tPear would LOVE to have him.

Because he interjects himself in Bronnys activities way over the line. If I were Bronnys AAU coach I would have to tell LeBron to take a walk and if he didnt like it, take his son with him.

I’m not sure what the exact financial impact would be, but having LeBron’s son on the team would increase our national exposure exponentially.

His son would likely be a one and done player at any level, be it G-league/overseas/college. I am not sure if the benefit of having a kid for one year and his dad being Lebron James would have that great of a recruiting impact on LSU. Also, what if he ends up not being the best 1 or 2 guard on the team and doesn’t get the PT Lebron thinks his son deserves. At what point does Wade start feeling the pressure to play a kid because he is Lebron’s son. We have seen how outspoken Lebron has been on social issues. Just imagine how he would feel if his kid isn’t getting the PT he feels he deserves. With all that being said, I am sure LSU will offer and take him in a heartbeat. I am just not buying the great benefit Lebron brings for a kid who would be one and done.

He's a 4 star. He's ranked 38 in the nation. In what universe is that bad?

True.

The only question would be if that “game changer” aspect would be good or bad.

Can you imagine Bronny being benched.

Think of what Ryan Clark’s “influence” meant to LSU and magnify that times 100.

This is a hard pass to me as the RISK far outweighs the reward.

People can argue about him all they want but Lebron brings international exposure to LSUs brand

If Bronny commits to LSU, then guaranteed other high profile players are going to commit to LSU. Higher ranked players than Bronny will want to be a part of it to ride that exposure, especially if LSU does well in the tournament this year.

If LSU is good with Bronny, they will get Duke-esque hype and exposure.

It would be a pretty significant thing for the program.

If they are bad, yeah, it would be bad. Very bad.

LeBron James would make helicopter fathers Brad Johnson and Doug Nussmeier look like deadbeat dads.

Definitely, my sister in law's friend's 2nd cousin said on Facebook that her friend is their realtor and they're looking at property in Baton Rouge.

You can hate treasonous American citizens who advocate for communism and oppression for sure. Walter Duranty was an American citizen. You're a pussy for not understanding that. Most of you are too coddled and comfortable in your American lives to understand the evil LeBron James advocates for in the interest of his own pocketbook.

That has nothing to do with Bron's activism. And maybe Bronny's AAU coach loves the exposure and Bron's contribution (in whatever way he does) and doesn't mind that because it all helps the team. And he may not think Bron crosses the line. And if tPear is recruiting him, I would think he's talked to Bron and has seen how he is (because I assume he's that detailed) and is ok with it. And if he isn't, has/will talk to Bron about it and will go in a different direction if need be. But Bronny's talent and the exposure of having him I think warrant's the "risk". So in conclusion I agree with you somewhat; I'm sure Bronny's AAU coach and tPear would do the same as you, they just may not see it as you do.

If you don't know this about lebron, over half of our Congress, and our "president" you should open your eyes.

I did not know Lebron was his Father. Now I get the wording of the starter of this thread.
