The gifts from my wife and I are just as big a surprise to me as they are to the recipient. No point in looking at the credit card bill this month - it will ruin the magic.

spent about 50 bucks each on my dad, sister, BIL, and cousin who i got in my families drawing

Between wife, 2 sons, best friend, 2 nephews, 1 niece, one brother in law and 1 father in law, close to 4 grand. 2 grand on the wife alone though.

No idea. I give my wife the money for Christmas presents, and the rest is up to her. She can blow it all at the casino for all I care; as far as I'm concerned, my job is done.

Too much.
I bought my wife a gravel bike - $2300. I liked it so much I bought one for myself, so another $2300.
Then I ran in to a guy selling a really nice mountain bike that would be perfect for my wife, at a great price, so I bit the bullet and bought it for her - $1600.
So three new bikes, plus accessories like pedals, saddle bags, a different saddle for her, to fit her lady parts. That added up quickly.
Then I started buying for the family.
I bought my wife a gravel bike - $2300. I liked it so much I bought one for myself, so another $2300.
Then I ran in to a guy selling a really nice mountain bike that would be perfect for my wife, at a great price, so I bit the bullet and bought it for her - $1600.
So three new bikes, plus accessories like pedals, saddle bags, a different saddle for her, to fit her lady parts. That added up quickly.

N+1 is always the right number of bikes, plus the powers that be keep coming up with new niche bikes because they know we just gotta have one of each...
I like most that have responded spent "too much". Really though I don't feel that way because I know the gifts will make people happy and that beats money all day every day. I like buying people things they want but will not buy themselves which for both our families is easy since most of them seem to want to die with every penny they ever made.

Don't know the total...Wife and I don't get each other presents.
