This pattern may last through January as well. La Nina’s horseshite weather….

I would love another mini global ice age.

Yeah the warm weather kind of makes it not feel like deer season. But sometimes it's not that bad not freezing your arse off riding 4 wheelers all day chasing down deer and dogs.

1989. My senior year of high school. That winter blast was obscene cold. Single digit highs in Funroe. Duck killing was off the hook even though the limit was 3. I was friends with buddies whose dad co-owned Pin Oak Mallards. It was a rare time when the owners were asking our crew to come help be the second shift because there were so many ducks.

Saturday took care of that
Problem for me.

Unless there’s no wind. The gnats were open for business three weeks ago on the coast. And they were serious about it
Just a slight breeze would’ve been nice.

Wow what a memory! Went hunting near Natchez the day it hit. Was in the tree when front blew thru. 43 or so to upper 20s real quick. Rain to sleet to snow for a few minutes. 9 degrees that night.

I'm sure we'll have a pipe busting January to make up for it.

Fully expecting this to be the case in Feb/March after hunting season.

Maybe February after duck season closes when all the ducks finally get here.

It was 28 degrees here this morning. I had to defrost my windshield.
