So far I’ve enjoyed it more than Yellowstone as it’s just more believable so far.

Wrapping up ep 3… Only critique I have is some of these Germans that couldn’t speak a lick of English in Fort Worth learned quick on the wagon trail.

I'm not sure Sam is acting. He is the character. He really is the most underrated badass when it comes to acting.

Tim MCGraw’s family gets to Montana and sets up the Dutton dynasty, but Sam Elliot gets sidetracked in Colorado and starts the Bennets with the gypsy lady.

I love how the show that features guns and killing people have Tim McGraw & Faith Hill in leading roles, who are both big gun control supporters in real life

That's pretty much every hypocritical Hollywood elite...

She has the same "Texas" accent in Young Sheldon. It's another Cali girl's take on the south

Kind of strange being country. Good way to alienate whatever musical fan base you may have.

Truth is they never were country, he just put on a cowboy hat and sang. She was good lookin and took advantage of a country music boom in the mid to late 90s. Not to discount their talent as artists bc they certainly have it but neither one of them was ever “country”

I wanted to kill Faith Hill’s sister myself after that absolutely retarded behavior with the bandits that got several people killed including her own daughter

Was she mentally unstable? Why on earth would she act that way??

Faith Hill dressed like Angelica Huston in Lonesome Dove does more than a little something for me.

And I'm far to old for that daughter, but she is more than a little easy on the eyes.

lucky for you, she killed herself.

which brings me to question:

is this really what times were like back then? someone on the verge of blowing their brains out, and everybody just rides off or stands off away and watches it happen? not willing to talk them out of it? like at all?

Faith Hill was born in Ridgeland, Mississippi; then adopted and lived in Star, MS. She first sang publicly at a local 4H event here, then started singing at churches and prisons in the area. I say she started out pretty country.

Also, loving 1883 so far. Already liking it more than Yellowstone.

Favorite part in episode 3: “How am I supposed to hunt with a 5 year old?”
“Teach him to be quiet or find a really dumb deer.”

If they are from Tennessee and are on their way north, why the hell are they now in Texas?

I agree. She's easy on the eyes, but awful on the ears.
