That was a nice a little introduction at the beginning of Yellowstone.

It was more like the ending to “1883”

It will be better than Yellowstone IMO, b/c you don’t have to suspend reality to create drama
I’ve enjoyed the acting and character development in Yellowstone, but the plot is too much like a soap opera to take seriously
Aliens will have to get involved by next season. LOL

Everyone must want a piece of the Taylor Sheridan train
Only CBS/Viacom. They signed him to a mega deal last year that included multiple new series and IP. I belive it was worth over $100M.
Not bad for a burnt out actor who didn't begin writing till he was 40. Although his early properties are still far superior to his stuff now.
Sicario and Hell or High Water will likely always be his best work.

Saw this on Paramount Network last night so set on series record. Was that episode a one off to get people to sign up for the streaming service or will it be on Paramount Network TV too?
I watched a out 2 minutes because I didn't want to get too deep if this was a one time deal. In that two minutes I decided this was worth getting Paramount Plus. It looks real good.

They’re offering a free month trial. Do y’all know if they’re releasing the whole season or will it be a week by week thing?

First time i heard the term "full episode preview".
Although it's better on plus . No commercials.

Do you have to sign up for Paramount to get this ?
I watched the preview last night and liked it
I'm trying to cut down not add more subscriptions

Mississippi was mentioned for something, didn’t catch exactly what they were talking about
John Dutton asked his 5 year old son how the train ride was and he replied “The man next to me shite himself in Mississippi and I had to smell it the rest of the way”

So what is the timeline on this, family lineage wise? Who is the little boy suppose to be? Is that John Dutton’s great grandfather or is Tim McGraw suppose to be the great grandfather?

Pretty sure tim is john’s grandfather and the boy is john’s dad
Or maybe i’m a generation off

John Dutton was born roughly around 1958 let’s say. Make him 63
That means his dad was likely born around 1920-1935 let’s say
So John Dutton born in 1878 would likely be his grandfather or even great grandfather, and Tim mcgraw(James Dutton) would be his great grandfather or great great grandfather
Remember people had kids young back then

The daughter said she was 17 and was born in 1883. The boy was a good 10-12 yrs younger which would put him born somewhere in the mid 1890s. In yellowstone i remember john saying he was 70. Making him born around 1950.
So, i guess that would mean the boy in 1883 would be his grandfather?

She was 17 in 1883
She was born 1 year after her father returned home from the civil war she said
The boy was 5 in 1883, so born in 1878
The boy is his grandfather and tim is his great grandfather
