New Jersey rep is a fruit cake. He should stay in his lane. He’s knocking on the wrong doors.

There wasn’t a high profile black coach that left a secure, winning program for a new job and more money. You jumping to conclusions about this maybe says a lil something something.

LSU doesn't use funds to pay a Coach nor the buyouts.

TAF handles most of the salary.

This guy is grandstanding and an idiot

He should send a letter to Disney/ESPN or FOX to inquire about the ridiculous broadcasting deals they're making with conferences, which are helping schools offer these lucrative contracts to coaches.

I wish someone would ask him to justify his close to 200k salary.

I'd like to see his "contract" with China.

1. This guy is jealous because Rutgers can't afford a decent coach.

2. I can't wait to hear what Senator Kennedy has to say about this. Should be some good commentary from him.

Hopefully the response is:

"When LSU transfers its campus from Baton Rouge to Trenton, we'll be happy to answer. Until then, it's NOYB."

LSU and USC hired big time playoff coaches away from two other blue blood storied program. They other two schools have their existing coaches raises and extensions to keep them off the market. Does that help?

Or Saban at Alabama. He’s been the highest paid for awhile now. Why no concern before now?

The LSU and USC situation involved buyouts. Which was also stated in the letter.

It’s about the money and at least in LSUs case, it’s none of their damn business.

I like how now it's totally NOT about race here, but when it benefits a race baiting narrative (i.e. muh pOlICe bRutAlItY), it's totally about race.

It seems to me that the inquiry is about money (grandstanding aside), but that senator is also not allowed to inquire about the black coaches or he'll be canceled.

First of all, that old wrinkled prune fat-cat career politician is cordially invited to STTDB...

But I'm having trouble understanding the groupthink here- yesterday, in the original thread about this, there was page after page of typical Southern conservative responses- "Democrats so stupid", "liberals are clueless", "Congress is terrible; do your job, stay in your lane", "Yankees need to MYOB", etc....I get that; the average tRant fan is a Trump-voting Republican to whom Democrats are devil's and commies-
BUT, I went and looked again, there was little mention of race, on about tge 3rd or 4th page one person incorrectly attributed the mention of Tucker and Franklin to the NJ congressman's letter (it was not in the letter; the mention of those two contracts was from the USA Today reporter's article)...

But the overwhelming majority of commenters were resoundingly negative but focused on hating Congress and government and progressives, etc, and NOT about race-

BUT NOW today, this new thread reveals that somehow overnight y'all have become convinced that somehow the letter was about race? What makes you all change your collective mind so easily? It seems like someone gives a cue or blows a dog-whistle and everyone is suddenly in lockstep ..

FTR, even though I'm not a Republican, I'm a lifelong born&raised P&G bleeder, and I become decidedly redneck and non-PC when it comes to my Tigers... frick PETA telling us we can't have a live tiger, frick those weenie progressives who get squeamish when I make gay jokes about the aTm Faggies, or Tebow, or call Trevor Lawrence a tranny, etc... When it comes to football, I'm a redneck cracker who doesn't give a shite if my trash-talk offends you.
