Yes, he was a RS Jr in 2020, got hurt, that year did not count. He was a RS JR again this year (5th year) and next year would be his RS SR year as a 6th year super senior.
No reason why he can't play, he was academically enrolled at LSU this Fall and I assume passed the minimum credit hours to remain eligible.

It kinda does unless we have 7 other players transfer. I may be out of date, but I thought we had 7 players in the portal. Taking Brennan out reduces that total to 6, which means we only get 6 transfers added to the 25 initial counters instead of 7.

This is Kelly’s most important recruiting job so far. This allows Walker Howard to sit and learn for a year. Not to mention, Brennan may very well light shite up in 2022. This is awesome!

That would depend on his being granted a medical exception waiver for an additional redshirt this year. It’s not a guarantee. It’s unlikely he would get one if he plays the bowl. He can play the bowl or in 2023, but probably not both. Three weeks to get ready for a bowl is also more than likely not realistic.
