He isn’t wrong, and I can’t stand his fake arse but college football is going down a slippery slope with this type of stuff and fan’s of college football can most definitely see what’s coming around the bend. Paying 18 year old kids millions of dollars is fine with me, but let’s not pretend it’s the same college football we knew just 10 years ago.

The sport is a disaster now and has been for some time. The powers that be fricked up, mismanaged and let ESPN take control of the reigns...and we've seen how well they're at managing their company.

Yea? Are you also suggesting that Clemson doesnt have it’s bag men like every major college program and that Clemson doesnt pay recruits like every major college program does?
Dabo is right, this is not sustainable and it is/will ruin college football. The transfer and sit out a year rule should have never gone anywhere.

You only get one free transfer as an undergrad. If you transfer again you have to sit out a year.

I think this has been a long time coming and the rise of social media stars in their teens and early twenties making millions posting on TT and IG has put it in fast forward. Social media has given young people more power.
There are so many ways for kids and young adults to make millions now versus even 10 years ago that it was bound to influence college sports, which has many of the most famous and talented people in that demographic.

How is this any different than joining the RPO HUNH spread concepts when we went to a 40-second clock in '08'? He was quick to join that club. You can adapt or quickly be left behind in college football.
But something else is going on at Clemson bedsides the magic portal. TAMU just lost their DC and still finished the ESD with a bullet. Clemson recruits were jumping ship like they hit an iceberg.
