The 2am-going-to-get-a-sandwich part never bothered me. I work nights, and even on my off days, I sort of remain on a night schedule and find myself up at 2 am hungry. I can see a celebrity with crazy sleep schedules also being up at that time hungry.
However, I'd like to know when Subway started staying open until 2am. All those bitches close around 9pm in the Greater New Orleans area. A 2am quick-bite option would come in handy for me.

I’m glad that tipped him off and Smollett was clearly lying.
But … couldn’t be have dropped the sandwich during the attack and after picking himself up, grabbed the sandwich to bring it home? People in shock do all kinds of things.
It just seems weird that that is what tipped them off. Smollet could have just claimed to be in shock.
I’m glad Smollett got caught lying. What he did was terrible. I’m just surprised THAT was the clue.
