Buffalo had no time outs and an injured player. What should the rule be? If they don’t have the current rule it gives team with no time outs left a way to stop the clock

Umm, not really. You just stop the play, get the injured player off the field, and then run the clock as normal….

Regardless it didn’t effect this game but could make a difference.

What the hell just happened with the play clock? Pats just got 20 seconds given to them.

I love the Mannings talking how amazing Mac did handing them ball off tonight.

Injured players reset the game clock.

I would have loved a little bit of context by the coverage. Where was the injured player? Did he just fall on the ground with 10 seconds left on the play clock?

Completely bizarre that they didn’t show what happened.

I can’t believe the patriots won that game throwing the ball 3 times. Truly incredible

The bills lost with all the chances and no points

However the nfl refs don’t get the benefit of the doubt anymore

The afc is wide open. If you win the nfc you win the super bowl.

The common sense thing would be to pickup the play clock and game clock from the second the injured player goes down and the clocks are stopped

They give the injured team a "4th timeout" to remove an injured player but the result is the play clock gets rewou d. Otherwise you'd see a rash if fake injuries to stop the clock on that situation.

You’re still giving teams free time outs in this situation

It’s time to consider NE as a top 3 team in the league

Not sure that’s true

Bills are dangerous because they have Allen. A hot Qb in the playoffs is dangerous. Obviously, their o line is suspect at times and between the colts game and tonight their d line has holes too

Pats have the best o line in football and a great d. That’s always scary in the playoffs. But at some point QB play will need to win multiple games one would think

Chargers and bengals both have young guns at qb that can scare any team, but have both looked like shite at times

Ravens and Lamar is a crapshoot

Kc still has Mahomes and company. Does anyone really want to see them?

And no time for an offense to run a play of there is motion or shifts
I mean, ok we'll restart the clock, you have 9 seconds to get your line calls, options, and the snap off. That would be BS too.

Simple fix

Run the game clock down to where it would have been had they originally snapped it with 1 on the clock, yet you reset the play clock

Don’t think people trust them because kyler is one smack away from a 4-6 week injury more than anyone in the league
