National Media has Zeroed in on Kelly

I fend it interesting how the National pundits have decided BK is a bad guy. It’s ok for Riley to go to the west coast and leave a stories program in OK. Now we have a former player calling out hiring the older white dude. GMFB! Is anything ever stated about players who leave or quit? It’s so bad they are saying he changes his voice to fit in. WTH are these idiots doing? I hope LSU rams it up their arse. I’m sure it will hurt us initially in recruiting but hopefully we win next year and point it in the right direction.

This is the exact reason it had to be Brian Kelly or someone similar and it couldn’t have been Lane Kiffen or someone like that, because we definitely would see More using the race card

Think of the Economics. 1) NBC still has its TV deal tied to ND, if they all of sudden go back to Pre Kelly, that impacts their TV Revenue. 2) National guys like Forde, Feldman, Futiak, etc, get lots of Social media hits when they write something about Notre Dame. Again, they stink on the field, hurts them financially personally.
So this attack on Kelly is all about Money. Riley at USC is from a media Revenue perspective, a win. USC is good again, it is the 2nd largest media market again, FOX, which has 1st tier rights, ESPN (PAC12 at night) with 2nd tier rights all of a sudden become more financially lucrative. Social media hits from those same journalist can increase if USC under Riley returns to what they were under Pete Carrol.

Every one of those comments is just further confirmation that Woodrow did the right thing.

Riley at USC will do what Riley at OU did...
Blow through a basically defense-optional conference to easily secure a spot in the playoff, then get BTFO by whichever SEC team they get matched up with. And USC will be fine with it because they just want to be relevant again.
Kelly, OTOH, will make LSU the only school in history to win a national championship with four different consecutive coaches... and he won't stop with just one natty.
Anytime the mainstream media (in any form) is collectively melting about something you did, you know you did something right. I'll leave it there.

They have always done whatever they can to try and derail LSU momentum. I used to not really believe it but when u look back it is true there many with a axe to grind when it comes to LSU and I don’t get it. Oh and RC is a racist narcissist individual.

And that's what they're threatened by. They know Saban is on the way out. If Kirby can win a title this year, they'll be the new media darlings. When talking about LSU, it sometimes sounded like a back-handed compliment, at least from some. If LSU were to ever wake up the "sleeping giant" they've always claimed us to be, we would be a force to be recond with for years to come.

Yeah, I would say pretty much no amount of publicity is really bad publicity when it comes to recruiting - especially shite like this.

On Monday, people were claiming Scott Woodward was a failure and that the coaching search was a failure and that LSU football was scrambling to find a new coach.
I imagine that pushed up the timeline to stop the bleeding.
