Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) will introduce legislation this week to ban the United States from importing seafood and aquaculture products from China, Breitbart News has exclusively learned. The legislation, titled “Ban China’s Forbidden Operations in the Oceanic Domain Act” also called the C-FOOD Act, would prohibit seafood and aquaculture imports from entering the U.S. market one year after its enactment into law.
“Fishing and aquaculture is yet another industry the Chinese Communist Party is weaponizing for their own gain through blatant abuse and slave labor,” Cotton said. “This legislation will stop imports of this illicit seafood by imposing real costs on the Chinese government and the companies that aid them.”

Bold move Cotton, too bad Joe Xiden only puts China first.

I’d ban all food imports from over there.
Can’t trust anything having to do with that supply chain.

Damn near everything comes from China, it’s disheartening

I'm well aware and probably even more concerned about it than anyone else you will run into.
China is horrific.
India isn't much better in some cases.
Japan is outstanding.
We need to onshore everything possible.

Why didn’t he just say it isn’t of adequate quality?

I agree strongly. America first. That is a major factor in the efforts to "get Trump". The multi national corporations getting rich don't care about America first, they only care about profits first and their money guides DC policies in their favor.

Lots of contradictions there. The biggest being your perception of Trump. He waged a trade war so it would be easier for US companies to invest in China and that is exactly what the phase 1 deal allowed them to do and they did.

About 65-70% of all bibles printed come from China, as well.

Where’s Roger?
Since we had this exact discussion a week ago, interested to hear your take on this….

Would you like to tell us who you voted for in all past elections that didn’t sell us out or destroy industry because of muh climate change and greed?
Please tell us what grifter you voted for.

Trump is the grifter I voted for but will not again.
I answered your question now answer this one--How many times have you voted for a democrat?

That process is ongoing, but moving quickly. We're creating a Pax Americana in the Western Hemisphere. We have USMCA (NAFTA 2), CAFTA, and will eventually roll all of the Caribbean and South America into it, possibly including Cuba and Venezuela. Once that's done, we won't really need much from the rest of the world, particularly the Chinese.

Someone going after China is like a bat-signal for IB Chinaman. Loves him some slavery, as long as the profits are good.

I dont generally support anything that restricts free trade, but having spent a ton of time in China, I have serious health concerns about anything harvested from Chinese water - especially fresh water. The pollution there is extreme. Its a real concern.
