Be working there tomorrow. Where to go?

Olde Tyme Grocery or Pops Poboys.

Old Tyme for a more traditional po-boy.
Pop's if you want something like a bang bang shrimp po-boy. (Although they probably make a stellar old school po-boy, I always get something more exotic like the crawfish boil sausage po-boy)

Old Tyme will be traditional. Pops has the Delcambre Dandy which has lemon aioli and arugula. It’s delicious.

I had a great Shrimp Po Boy from Joeys recently.

I just can’t bring myself to like old time shrimp poboys. They just taste off to me. I admit that I am probably alone in this opinion.

Depending on where you are in town, Chris' Poboys or Olde Tyme.

Yeah, OldeTyme gets my vote also. On St Mary near USL campus. Fried shrimp po’boy, bag of Zapp’s, fountain root beer. Gaaaaht damn!

I had one from there 2 weeks ago (Robley location). It was terrible. Normally they are solid, but this one was way too battered and no seasoning on the shrimp. I ordered a half and didn't eat half of that.

Cancel the shrimp and get the Special at Chris' Poboy on Pinhook. It will melt in your mouth

I'm partial to Pop's, but I don't typically get a standard fried shrimp po-boy.
Their Jala-back is really good:

I'm in this crowd as well. I think it's the bread. It's not the traditional NO (Leidenheimer) French bread.

I finally had one here and it was fantastic.
MiMis macaroni was also great.
