The worst Chic-Fil-A there is

Outside Terminal C at MSY
Flight delay and the kids was hungry and wanted CFA.
No milkshakes
No Diet Coke
Rude employee
The food bagger would not get off his phone.
20 min wait, 3 people in line in front of me.
So much food on the warming shelf because bagger on phone
Fries cold and no salt
Nuggets burnt to a crisp.
Absolutely terrible. Not a pleasure.

So there is a reason for this. The terminal food and bev operator hires the employees; not the brand.

yup. Back when I lived in Alaska, I would stop at this CFA on my way back and get two chicken biscuits

Franchising Vs. Licensing
If you read reviews of any of the MSY eateries the reviews are bad.
HMSHost is the food service provider at MSY. They just operate under license.
