Just started this last night. I know I am super late to the game but I was like 8 when it came out. Does it still live up to the hype 24 years after it started? I'm liking it so far.

I just re-watched the entire series. Still very good. The Soprano's interior decorating is nostalgic.

My wife and I literally said the same thing. We both guessed that it started in the late 90s before I looked it up. Decor is on point!

Incredibly jealous of you right now. You get to experience this series as a virgin and without having to wait eight years. Enjoy.

Christopher Moltisanti's intervention is the funniest five minutes in tv history.

I'm in the middle of another re-watch and saw this episode Sunday night. It really is hilarious.

Watched it for the first time a few months ago. I thought it was good overall. Probably not as good as everyone seems to think.

I would watch it again at some point in the future.

Wife and I are currently watching for the first time as well. We are about halfway through S4 right now. We both enjoy it (and we both know how it ends).

I will say that it is pretty slow at times though, and there seem to be episodes here and there that are sort of wasted time in terms of plot advancement. But all in all it’s an entertaining watch for sure. And it has a time capsule feel to it with that late 90s/early 00s nostalgia that’s pretty cool to see.

I just started another rewatch. I wish I could start fresh because I think I’ve maxed out on it after like 5-6 rewatches. Still good though.

It's the GOAT show IMO and only gets better with age. Yes it's primarily a mafia story, but it's also about finding meaning in life, what purpose one serves in the bigger picture. There is so much there under the surface level. And it gets very David Lynch at points too. 11/10 phenomenal series.

24 years???? Doesn’t feel that long. But I’m getting old.

Yes it still holds up. Did a rewatch about a year ago and loved it all over again.

It is one of the GOAT shows.

May seem slow at times but stick with it. Everything about it is top tier - writing, acting, characters, direction, music, etc.
