Is there a market for a Hunger Games prequel? I was shocked how much these movies made but there was a downward trend on box office return. My guess is that this movie continues this trend big time.

First one was good but the story just became more and more contrived.

Hollywood is really trying to make her the next big thing, but my god I find her annoying as shite.

I bet that's one diverse group when it comes to socio-political beliefs.

Because it was just The Running Man with teenagers.

It will be interesting to see if her immaturity and stupidity have an impact on her career. I suspect she's never going to be a bankable box office star and if this movie and Snow White tank, she'll be back to doing theater. I think she's talented, but she comes across as incredibly unlikeable.

Possibly, but not this way. Who gives a flying frick about the 10th annual Hunger Games? It's just a rinse and repeat disguised as a "prequel".

Now, I could possibly get into a prequel that leads up to the 1st Hunger Games.

What are the chances that he is the only "little person" on this set?

Well, he did get rid of the Seven Dwarves singlehandedly. Zegler will soon have box office flops West Side Story, Snow White, and Hunger Games on her resume. The only thing funnier would be Disney bank rolling this turd.

Looks possibly good to me.

I love how these movies depict fairly realistically the awfulness and oppression of a fascist government and a disarmed helpless citizenry.

Like hey, even Hollywood knows where this goes from present day, even have the president threatening to use military force against citizens.

I've read the book that the movie is based on. It's a prequel that focuses on how the games became the huge spectacle that we see in the original book. It was interesting, but one of the main characters was a young Coriolanus Snow (Donald Sutherland in the movie trilogy) so you know what his eventual outcome is.

Does the Shazam movie count against Zegler? She was pretty unimpressive in that movie too.

It's not a reboot. It' an adaptation of a prequel novel.
