BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - L’Auberge Casino in Baton Rouge received its sports betting license Friday.
The casino says it will start accepting its first sports bets at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1.
Harrah’s in New Orleans, Boomtown Casino in Harvey, L’Auberge Baton Rouge and Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City were all issued licenses Friday, said Ronnie Johns, chairman of the Louisiana Gaming Control Board told WAFB’s Perry Robinson.

Well they probably won’t let you anywhere near it, since we all know how you feel about bets.
And what are they gonna do, break your knees?

The degenerates on the MSB will love this news.

Just in time for everyone to lose their homes taking LSU +48.5 against Alabama.

If I bet $5 on LSU to win straight up, what does that get me?

They take your money right away and then kick you in the nuts.

Probably so. But now that we got the sports betting. I can see myself placing a small bet on LSU every weekend now. I'm a sunshine pumper and won't mind losing $20 or so per game. But when we pull off upsets, it'll be lagniappe to get a nice lil payout.
So, help me understand how much I would win betting $20 on The Bama game where LSU is picked to lose by 28 or 30.

Mobile sports betting won't be available for a couple of months. Harrah's in New Orleans will be open on Sunday.

where's the apps though
Honestly that is what I am most interested in. I know Caesars will be available starting Nov 24th, I am trying to find out if L'Auberge will have their app available. Well I say their app, but Barstool has their sportsbook so it would be through barstool's app.

This is only been discussed over a dozen times here

I just looked at the Caesars lines and I don't think they even have money lines after about 30. Kansas is getting 30.5 this week, their money line is +2500, so $5 should get you $125.

Gotcha. That's what I was wondering. Just ballpark. I get the concept and looking forward to placing a small bet on LSU every week. Hopefully they'll take college baseball bets too. Make my bets on the Way to the Box.

It'll be like people who play the lottery(i don't).

Say you bet $5 when LSU is +1500, you’d win around $75.

Are they opening a separate space for it? I don’t gamble much but putting a couple bucks on a big fight and watching it in on big screens in a dedicated bar is pretty dam fun lol

Degenerates everywhere rejoice

You will be a crackhead when the apps hit. We have like 10 in Michigan right now. I think Louisiana will be similar, only I read something that each licensee in LA may have a few different skins or platforms. So, in other words, MGM may have a few different apps or something. I bet you guys end up around a dozen, too.

I wouldn't hold on to that date.
This is from and article posted this morning:

The first sports betting options will be at on-site sports books, or betting parlors, in some of the state's 20 riverboat and land-based casinos and racetracks.
Johns said it will likely be early 2022 before casinos begin offering mobile online betting options.
That's the same timeline expected for bars and restaurants to secure sports betting kiosks for their customers. The Louisiana Lottery controls that segment of the industry.
