Cruz has been in jail since February 14, the day he allegedly gunned down 17 students and staff members at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. Prosecutors recently announced they intend to seek the death penalty. His attorneys said they were shocked by the stacks of letters and cards he has received — many of which included pictures of scantily clad teenagers or gushing descriptions about his looks.
"When I saw your picture on the television, something attracted me to you," one letter from an 18-year-old girl in Texas said, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel. "Your eyes are beautiful and the freckles on your face make you so handsome."

There were women who use to send Charles Manson love letters.. I hope it doesn't make him feel that good that a bunch of crazy bitches are sending him those letters.

Anyone who sent those letters to that monster, should be automatically investigated by the FBI. You have to be some kind of crazy to look at a mass murderer and think, "wow he's attractive".

Is there a term for people with this weird obsession with murderers? I remember it happened with the Boston bomber as well. It’s also, at least in this case, not strictly girls/women. I saw some “older men” according to an article I read were providing funds for his prison commissary. Weird stuff.
