Secondary ticket resellers are absolutely ridiculous

Looking to scoop up 2 for LSU-Arkansas. Found some I liked in lower bowl for $130 each on Stubhub. Total $260? No after bullshite fees, total was $400.
I refuse to donate $140 to a website for holding a ticket while it sells. How do people justify using these places?

$200 including fees for a good lower level seat for a big sec game isn't that out of line tbh

You wanna play? You gotta pay!
This your first time experiencing this kind of thing? It's called supply and demand. SOMEBODY will buy them.

I really don't understand why its that much either but there are 5-6 companies and they are all charging a lot. You'd think you could figure out a way to reduce your fees on less risky games, like SEC non conference games where the likelihood of fraud is low. But maybe the risk of fraud is always high? IDK

Before LSU sold their soul to stubhub they had an in house ticket marketplace on lsusports where people would list their tickets and you could buy them for face value. It was an incredible feature and made looking for tickets really nice.

Use the Ticket Exchange board here.. You should be able to find something decent.

Just go to the stadium and find someone selling them there. If you don’t then just have fun tailgating and go somewhere to watch the game.

I get that, but if the person selling them is asking $130 ea, why TF would I pay an extra $70 per for fun

I’m going to try TickPick and if nothing good on there will be watching from the couch

Well the biggest scalpers are the schools through required "donations"
Stub Hub just piggybacks on top.
The actual person selling the ticket may just be breaking even or actually losing money trying to keep there place in the donor Ponzi scheme.

Pretty sure there was a 25% service charge.. not bad but I remember getting aggravated that no tickets were available all week.. then all of a sudden tons were on the ticket marketplace with the surcharge, it was obvious that LSU had control of those tickets

Lower bowl? SEC night game? I paid way more than that for CU/CSU last weekend.

It was great for postseason baseball tickets. I would get regional and super regional tickets at basically face value compared to the retarded prices on stubhub for an LSU baseball game.
