How to stop dog waking us up at 5:45

So for some reason my dog (1 year old puppy) wakes us up every morning at 5:45 whining. For the first few weeks it started happening, we thought it was for the bathroom. She has crapped in the house diarrhea style once so we are paranoid. Now when we let her out at 5:45, she runs and grabs a ball to play. When we bring her back inside, she runs straight to her food bowl and barks/whines until we feed her.
She is crate trained and overall an amazing dog but this early wake up call is killing us. Anybody have any suggestions on how to break her from this habit?

Keep it outside, where God intended it to be.

You’re lucky it’s not 4:45 like my puppy does.

Have a kid and you will already be awake.

Mine has woken me up around 5 am for 10 years, deal with it.
It's part of being a dog owner, get up and let the dog go outside.

Like there isn’t a way to correct the dog.

Don’t know where you crate her, but if you can put her in a room not exposed to sunlight, that might be a start. Also you might try just ignoring her for a while if she wakes up too early. Eventually she’ll get the message.

Is she sleeping in the crate at night?
You’ve probably conditioned her by letting her wake you up at 5:45am as well. If she is rewarded by you getting up and taking her out then it’ll continue to happen.

What do you sleep until 5:45 ? Fenced in yard is a must need to be able to open the door and let dog go out and do his/her thing. Then either they stay out until you go back in and have some morning sex.
Or the do the quick instant pee and poo.
On a serious note it is important to take the puppy out first thing.
Use that new time in your morning to reflect, read the news, pray, have some alone time before the day starts.
Waking up a little earlier really changed my life.

Put a blanket over the crate with a sound machine. Worked like a champ for us

If you farm you are lazy as heck if you are still in bed at 5:45 so have some empathy for folks who get up at 3am to work.

Wake up at 5:30 and start barking and whining first.

She’s a puppy and you’re wondering why she wakes up at 5:45? Cause she’s rested and wants to play. She’s a puppy. She ain’t on your schedule. That’s all part of being an owner.
You can ignore her and eventually she’ll stop whining. But you run the risk of her eliminating improperly if she has to go. You need to do a better job of getting her on a schedule.
Bruh, it ain’t like she’s yapping at 3am.

You should just start sleeping outside. That way the pup won't wake you up. And outside is probably cleaner than your house, with less dirt and dog hair.

Move feeding back at night
Ignore the whining in the crate until you’re ready to get up. It’s going to suck but will take a few days
Very important do not feed the dog right when they get up, you’re motivating it to get up early so it can get food. Once you get up don’t feed for 30-45 minutes.
