Homemade with the rock salt in that little churn contraption says otherwise.

Man, we made some for Mother's Day because my wife wanted some...so good with the magic shell on top.

Ice cream left out to get melty is better than soft serve

Did she want the white chocolate magic shell topping that you hand crank?

Bought this in vanilla and chocolate at the grocery store the other day. Pretty good stuff.

Yes!
I’ve been hitting up snowball stands lately to try different ice creams. Haven’t even had a snowball yet this year

The best homemade I've ever had was a custard type that ended up being way too sweet. So, we tried adding packs of Country Time Lemonade to it to cut the sweetness some and......oh my. It turned out like an even better version of a Chic-fil-a frosted lemonade.
I've been meaning to try to create a recipe for a whole batch of it.

I'm sure it's really tasty. But notice it doesn't say ice cream on the label. Frozen dairy dessert.

Almost no soft serve ice cream can legally be sold as "ice cream" (I said 'almost no' because there may be some somewhere, but I'm not actually aware of any).
The bureaucratic stringency on that is sort of funny.

That usually means that there isn't enough actual cream in it for it to be called ice cream. There are rules for such things.
