I went to Nicholls, played bball there for a short time. I love that school. Grew up going to bball camps there. But that school should not be there. Louisiana has too many schools. Southern has a reputable law school. But they shouldn't be there either.

I have little faith in that number from Southern BR being anywhere close to accurate, or without felonious activity.

There are plenty of lawyers that have gone there. I'd say they have a good reputation of putting out some lawyers. They aren't Tulane, but they have respect.

First time bar exam pass rate is 62% for Southern. That is fricking terrible.

SELA football making the playoffs must be the reason for being in the black. Nichools was selling out FB games few years back.

Why are there no numbers for ULM, Northwestern, UNO, McNeese, and Grambling?

Was wondering the same. I’m sure they’re somewhere online if you dig enough.

ULL gets around 18 mil in funding from the school a year and still manages to lose millions more.

Maybe don't pay your football coach 2.5 mil and then bond out every facilities project. It's been around 4/5 years of this. Yet they continuously try to burn cash. I can't wait for the taxpayers to fund their football stadium renovation like we do with every other one of their projects from the last 5 years

Probably because they were"even" keep in mind basically every schools AD takes money from directly from the school ( besides LSU)

Calling LSU athletics self sufficient is like saying a gut shot deer is still running with plenty of energy and spirit.

No public schools in Louisiana are “self sufficient”….not even LSU. In fact, TAF has some real challenges in the coming years.

Of course. But all that money puts them in the red. They have to draw in revenue through ticket sales, merch sales, and donations. Do you think they all broke even?
