Tulane is a lot stronger team than many realize. They're fire-tested; having played many games against West Coast powers early on (Cal St Irvine, Fullerton St, UCLA, USC, Washington) as well as other highly regarded teams. And they incredibly won their own conference tourney, beating Memphis, ECU and #2 ranked U of H two out of three games!

Tulane is a terrible team that is only here because they played 5 days of good baseball the entire season.
