How do you people come up with these opinions on how a coach with be good or not?

He just seems very rough and unpolished.

Oh you convinced me.

It’s opinion. If it were scientific then coaching hires wouldn’t fail at about a 70 percent rate.

The people who get paid millions of dollars to interview and hire coaches don’t do any better than me throwing darts at a list of coaches.

Kliff is likely going to get fired in AZ. Would make alot of sense for alot of reasons.

MSU is a hard place to be a HC there due to lack of money for NIL deals. Many want to be at schools where there are good recruiting grounds and good amount of money for NIL deals. That is why Leach went to MSU instead of going to a top program. Kliff I am not sure he would want to struggle to get 4* players. That is why I said Leach was the perfect fit for MSU.

I’m not sure why they automatically need to keep the Leach system. Leach was good, but was he THAT good?

Did anyone remember what Ed Orgeron did at Ole Miss? He was that bad, but it is a very hard place to recruit 4* and 5* players to compete with the rest of the SEC teams that have 4* and 5 * players on their roster. Ed Orgeron did tell Kiffin not to take the Ole Miss job because what he went through there when he was the HC. It is why Leach was willing and can get to 6-6 to 8-4 in the regular season. Tell me which HC will be willing to risk his career at MSU? Kiffin was good enough and knowledgeable to get players to play for his team. But does anyone think Kiffin will stay at Ole Miss for a long time? Think of Vandy is another school that will be tough to compete for 4* and 5*.

That's the thing, I don't know if Kliff is getting any of those jobs. He's been in the NFL, but that was always a strange hire.

That fool is the king of all try-hards around here. He REALLY wants us to care that Mizzou exists.

I also give Deion a lot of shite and I’m not real high on his prospects as a P5 coach. That said, I think he can succeed in the right situation. That situation is not Colorado, but it could be Mississippi State.

One of the hosts on Sirius yesterday said they would call Deion today and make him say no. Apparently they have not finalized his contract.

He would actually fit Miss st very well. And he’s the type of guy that would leave 3 weeks after accepting a job, lol

Garrett Riley would be a great hire. I agree they’ve recruited to that system and State needs a unique system to gain advantage. I’ve said for years Vandy needs to do the same and go full blown air raid.

They could always wait about 4 weeks and hire Kingsbury when Arizona fires him after the season.

Got the team to 8-4 this year and what did LSU do to end up with 4 losses this year.

Play in the SEC championship game.

He was 19-17 and 11-14 in the sec in 3 years. That doesn’t scream run it back to me. Maybe to a Missouri fan it does.

think about what mississippi state is historically. outside of a couple years this is very good results for them and it was building in the right direction

Miss St needs to grieve

Nothing personal, but Leach wasn't at Miss St for that long. Seems like they should be able to get past this fairly quickly in terms of hiring.

Nah, Kliff loves the limelight. He was trying to get to LA with USC before the Cardinals decided to risk it all. And he's dating a Polish chick who runs an "influencer" agency -- seems like they'd be fish out of water in Starkville, MS
